|| It Has Been A Grateful 2013. ||

2013年裡的“練習”讓我成長了許多, 也帶給我好多驚喜:新朋友, 新挑戰, 新契機...最重要的是讓我從中認識了自己。很感謝這一年, 讓現在的我過著夢想中充實的生活, 也透過這個部落格跟你們分享這些美好的回憶。In 2013, I did my practice to become "the better me", and it worked by bring in so many exciting new FRIENDS/ CHANGES/ OPPORTUNITIES. Now I really am living in a fulfilled life and sharing all these sweet moments with you through my blog here.  你們呢?在一年中有很大的轉變嗎?有沒有想要感謝的人事物?我要謝謝你們的支持, 雖然很安靜但我知道你們都在的! (有時候還是希望可以透過“文字”而不是“數據”才知道你們的存在...)(大喊:我愛你們!!有聽到回音嗎~)How about you, what do you want to thank for in the past year's adventure? Hope you can share with me. Love you, you, you, you and you! yumm。|| Turkey Leftover TURNOVER ||

不管是聖誕還是感恩節一定都少不了火雞大餐, 剛烤出來的火雞讓人垂涎三尺, 但剩下來的火雞肉真的會讓人避而遠之。不想要吃隔夜乾乾癟癟火雞肉的我, 決定把它們一次做成兩種料理, 冷藏起來分好幾天享用。


Either Thanks Giving or X'mas, we can't really celebrate them without big yummy roast TURKEY. Only just picturing it makes my mouth watering. However, the leftover can really turn the heaven into a nightmare. In order not to eat the dry boring turkey meat or make it into ordinary sandwiches, I decided to make it into two dishes that will last a couple more days in the fridge whenever I fancy them : )

火雞肉蔬菜咖喱


一個馬鈴薯 切塊/ 一個紅蘿蔔 切塊/ 半個洋蔥 切片/ 3個大蒜 切碎/ 2條新鮮辣椒 切碎 (可不加)/ 兩杯雞高湯(或水)/ 大蒜黃油(或一般黃油)/ 6個咖喱塊/ 一碗撕碎的火雞肉


1. )放入黃油, 洋蔥, 大蒜, 辣椒炒香後, 加入紅蘿蔔跟馬鈴薯。Heat the pan with Garlic Butter, then toss Onion/Garlic/ Chill into the pan until fragrant.


2. )放入火雞肉拌炒。 Toss in teared Turkey.


3.)加入兩杯高湯(或水)等沸騰, 放入咖喱塊。燉煮5分鐘後即可上桌!  Add two cup of Chiken Stock (or water) and add Curry Cube when its Boiling. stew it for 5 min, then serve with some rice.

焗烤芝士火雞肉螺旋義大利麵


一顆白花椰菜 切塊/ 8-10個紐扣蘑菇/ 很多很多查達芝士 磨碎/ 半顆洋蔥 切丁/ 2顆大蒜 切碎/ 兩條新鮮辣椒 切碎 (可不加)/ 一罐去皮番茄罐頭/ 大蒜黃油 (或一般黃油)/ 兩碗螺旋義大利麵/ 一碗撕碎的火雞肉


1.) 在鍋子裡放入4杯水, 待滾後, 加入少許鹽跟2碗螺旋義大利麵。烤箱預熱200度20分鐘。Put 4 cups of water in a pan and bring to boil. Put in some salt and the Fusillis in. Pre-heat the oven 200 degree 20 mins.


2.) 放入黃油, 洋蔥, 大蒜, 辣椒炒香後, 放入蘑菇和花椰菜拌炒, 待食材稍微軟化後倒入番茄罐頭。Heat the pan with Garlic Butter and then toss in Onion/ Garlic/ Chill/ Mushroom/ Cauliflower, cook until soften. Then pull in the Tomato Can.


3.)等醬汁稍微滾了後, 放入撕好的火雞腿肉。Bring the sause to slightly boil, then toss in the teared Turkey.


4.) 放入鹽/黑胡椒/ 羅勒(乾燥的也可以)調味。Seasoning with some salt/ pepper and basil (dry herb would do too).

5.) 烤盤要先抹上黃油。Butter your baking plate.


6.) 把三分之一的煮熟義大利麵與些許醬汁在烤盤裡攪拌均勻。Mix 1/3 pasta with some sauce in your baking plate.


7.)鋪上第一層芝士。1st layer of Cheese.


8.) 重複意大利面+醬汁+芝士的步驟, 用厚厚的一層芝士收尾。Repeat Pasta+Sauce+Cheese. Ended with thick layer off Cheese.


9.) 鋪上鋁箔紙, 記得在上面劃幾刀, 然後放進220度的烤箱烤15-20分鐘。Cover with foil, don't forget to make some cut on foil. Then bake it with 220 degree/ 15-20 mins.


Vola~很簡單吧!我那天用了一個半小時完成了這兩道料理(一大鍋咖喱+兩大盤焗烤麵), 然後分享給聖誕沒吃到火雞的好友們, 兩天就都吃光光了:)如果你有更簡單的火雞食譜也請來跟我分享呦!Vola~aren't they easy-peasy to make! I made them within 1 and half hours that night (one pot of curry +two big plate of pasta bake) and shared it with couple of friend who didn't have turkey on X'mas. They were GONE in 2 day : ) Well, if you have easier recipe, please do share with lazy me.

Xmas。|| A Cozy Merry Xmas How To ||

火雞吃了嗎?禮物拆了嗎?今天是聖誕節耶~上週給了滿滿的聖誕靈感, 這周來分享今年的聖誕的moments還有手把手教你們怎麼辦一個簡單又溫馨的小趴踢。


Have you had your turkey? and got the presents you want? IT'S CHRISTMAS TODAY!! Last week I share some Xmas inspirations, hope it helps you to set up your party. This week I got another theme to share, and I am also going to show you this How-to, step by step for a cozy little Xmas Party.


STEP1

都說是小趴了, 當然就不勞師動眾的下廚準備, 在大城市的好處就是“方便”!只要提前3-5天預訂, 有專業的大廚準備好送到你家。I did mention its a small party, so there is no bother to prepare a feast yourself. After all we live in a Big city, everything could happen with a phone call (make it 3-5 day in advance) and the feast will ring the bell.


--->火雞大餐是在 ‘嘉里肉食店, 上海浦東嘉里大酒店' 訂的。The turkey was ordered from ‘The BLOCK’ at Kerry Hotel Pudong in Shanghai. 蛋糕則是在‘闇黑紀元’訂的五分熟巧克力蛋糕。The Chocolate Cake was ordered from‘ Water Black Workshop’.

吃的都訂好了, 當然少不了一點聖誕裝飾。記得在上一篇寫到可愛的小牡丹們嗎?她們不只是只有粉紅色, 她還有橘色黃色跟白色, 這三個顏色讓我覺得更適合放在聖誕餐桌上, 配上燭光更顯溫馨。說到蠟燭, 這次自己DIY了浪漫的燭台(靈感來自這裡)。用的只是罐頭的玻璃瓶, 然後一些蕾絲與緞帶, 加上銀色細線纏繞在玻璃瓶上面做成的, 很簡單吧! 讓溫暖的燭光透過蕾絲照出來感覺好浪漫喔!  So food are all set, all we need on the table now is some lovely decorations. Remember the beautiful peonies I meantioned on last post? Well, it doesn't come just in Pink, it also come with Orange/ Yellow/ White and many more colors. Here I think those three colors are perfect for a cozy party with a warm candle light. Mentioned about candles, I made those super easy candle stand (learned from here)  by using some jars and wrap them with laces and ribbons ,firm them with silver thread. The light come out through the laces, makes the night even more romantic !!

很多人應該跟我一樣到最後一秒居然忘記最重要的東西: 有聖誕氣息的包裝紙!(用力拍腦門)但好險我平常就有這一大卷牛皮包裝紙(這個東西超好用! )找來了塊有花色的碎布(不要的衣服有好看的花色也可以剪來用)還有一些配色緞帶, 跟著靈感圖有模有樣的包好了打個結, 再插上一兩朵小花。哇! 這真的比只用聖誕包裝紙包出來的還有節日氣氛耶哈哈!! I think there are few people like me, who forget something very important at the very end…The Xmas Wrapping Paper!! (OMG) However, I am very glad I always have these brown packing paper (everyone should have them, they are brilliant in so many ways) and got myself a piece fabric that has nice pattern on (if you have some clothes you don't want, which has nice patterns on, you can cut it off) and some lovely matching color ribbons. According to my inspiration picture, wrap the whole thing up and add some nice little peonies…Vola! it looks even better than the boring Xmas wrapping paper! (proud)


STEP4

 不管是什麼派對, 一定都要有美酒 (18歲以上的派對)但在聖誕派對上一定要來點不一樣的! 每年我們都有兩種特別的酒:‘香料熱紅酒’跟‘Pimms調酒’。做法也都很簡單, 百度google都能找到, 這裡我就不細寫啦~When its a party, there is definitely some yummy drinks involved. Every year I would make these two special drinks for my dearest friends: ‘Spiced Mulled Wine’ and ‘Pimms with fruits’. They are incredibly easy to make, you can easily got the recipes on Goggle, so I will pass this one.

整個派對最歡樂的環節就是交換禮物了!!! 這裡我無法用言語形容那天的氣氛, 只能說整個笑到嘴巴沒有合起來過...有興趣的可以到yoube看看那天的歡樂混亂場面。The fun part of the whole party is definitly the EXCHGING GIFTS! I can not describe how crazy it went, all we did was laugh out loud ALL NIGHT. If you are interested to know, here is a youtube clip for you to check out!

X'MAS || Sprinkle some fairy dusts, Please. ||

厭倦了聖誕節一成不變的紅配綠狗臭屁嗎?(唉呦我就是忍不住…哈哈)今年要不要試試看桃紅/粉紅+綠色?只要用來點綴, 多一點點雅緻的女人味, 會讓整個派對/整棵聖誕樹變得時尚又優雅。很適合都是姐妹淘的聖誕晚宴喔!Tired of transitional Red and Green, why not try Pink/Fuchsia and Green, give it a bit more SOPHISTICATED twist. Isn't that perfect for Girls Xmas night out!

想要華麗一點的還可以撒上一點“金粉”來個金粉世家的感覺。粉紅色+金色,可以隆重也可以有點嬌羞, 是不敗的派對配色。If you want a bit of luxurious for this special holiday, sprinkle some gold dust. Pink and Gold, could be a bit more adorable and still keep the glammmm, very popular holiday colours.

去年在家裡舉辦的聖誕晚宴很成功也很溫馨。在亞洲, 聖誕節大多都成了朋友/同事聚在一起慶祝一年內彼此的照顧與陪伴。其實這樣的色彩搭配靈感是來自每年初冬才會有的草莓小牡丹, 淡淡的粉紅色配上綠色的聖誕樹感覺好浪漫, 是另一種會令人陶醉的聖誕氣氛。快!倒上一杯粉紅香檳, 撒點金粉在聖誕派對裡, 再和你身邊的好友說一聲:

Last year, I had a very cosy xmas night with my friends. I've always being thankful for their company within the special year. This holiday colour combination was inspired by early winter Strawberries and lovely Peonies. Soft touch of pink makes the holiday so romantically sweet. There you go, pull a glass of sparkling rosé, sprinkle some golden fairy dust and cheers to your beloved friends,

原木與青銅, 書本與筆墨。喜歡古早的樸質,   過去的簡單與平凡。上海吸引我的其中一個特色就是它保留了很多老房子老建築, 很多屋主都將原貌保留。老舊的壁紙, 斑駁的天花板與墻外攀爬的枝葉是過去留給現在的足跡, 是種有韻味的美。不管是走在新天地還是法租界的小路上, 路旁的梧桐樹落葉, 老屋子的磚瓦和弄堂前的鏽黑色鐵門相互呼應著。就在這樣的景色下, 讓人想吟詩想咀嚼這深秋美景。穿上黑色蕾絲洋裝披上紅色針織外套, 用點成熟甘醇的紅酒色點綴, 復古又有女人味。如果再來個留聲機, 放首周璇的“花樣的年華”就更完美了。(youku/ youtube)


Woods and bronze, books and ink. I love simple and down-to-earth feel when it comes to good old days. Nothing too complicated, just fulfilling everyday needs. One of the things that makes me fall in love with Shanghai, is how they preserve the old houses and buildings, even inside of it. Old wallpaper, mottled ceiling and plants on the wall that gives you the beauty of times. Take a walk in Xintiandi or French Concession, the leaves alone the street, the old houses' tiles and black rusty iron gate makes me want to create a poem for it, for the beautiful late-autumn heaven. Black lace dress, red cardigan hanging on my shoulder and a touch of mature red-wine colour: Elegantly retro. Only if I can get a gramophone and play Hua Yang De Nian Hua by Zhou Xuan would be more than perfect.  (youkuyoutube)

冬天真的來了!! 伴著上海灰灰灰灰的天空還有讓人無法呼吸的霾...(發抖)翻開相簿看看在倫敦旅行時的照片(請客官們耐心待我細細編輯這些還沒結束的倫敦/歐洲之行圖文呀)不僅僅這些鮮艷美麗的顏色讓我頓時感到點溫暖, 還有那些抱著花束的人們臉上的笑容讓我也跟著露出了微笑。現場的樂團表演(Brooke Sharkey, 他們真的好聽!快去google或百度一下),可愛的杯子蛋糕姑娘, 看起來令人垂涎三尺的三明治店, 跟沿路好多好多生活雜貨/飾品店家---這就是我喜歡的夢幻假日市集。令人難忘的愉悅週末氛圍, 讓人體驗到當地倫敦人對生活中”美“的追求:就是讓周圍的事物都賞心悅目。喔! 不能忘記介紹這兩家店:Ryantown 還有 Jessie and Buddug The ShopRob Ryan是一位十分有名的剪紙藝術家, 幽默又充滿童趣的剪紙在他的店裡能買到印在布上的或是瓷磚上, 是推薦的藝術蒐藏。Jessie Chorley這位設計師則是在J&B店裡販賣自己的手工卡片, 搪瓷項鍊還有手工刺繡(作品裡都有溫馨勵志的小段文字)。她的作品都很有治愈效果的舒服, 雖然當時店裡擠滿了人, 但卻還是讓人有家的那種平靜舒適感。

Winter is really here, with greyyyyy sky and horrible air in Shanghai, I flip through my album and see those colorful pictures I took when I was in London (please bare with me that I still have quite a lot unedited Europe trip posts, so to be continued). Not just the colours that cheers me up, but look at the flowers and the joy on people's face while holding a bouquet makes me smile too. Live band ( Brooke Sharkey, google them, they are real good), lovely cup cake girl alone, looking yummy sandwich shop, and with so many decoration/lifestyle shops on the street---just the way I like a market to be. Amazing atmosphere for a weekend to experience how local Londoner treat life beautifully by arranging things around them to be pleasant. Oh! must mention there are two particular shops that I love: Ryantown and Jessie and Buddug The Shop. Rob Ryan is a famous artist known by his delicate paper craft works, in his shop you can find his works on paper, fabric, tiles….all other medias. I had a lot of fun when I was wondering in Jessie and Buddug The Shop. Jessie Chorley, the designer makes those handmade cards, necklace and embroideries with words that comforts my heart. All the works are very cozy and soothing even when the shop was packed with people, I still found a bit of calmness.
